Imperial becomes first tobacco giant to suspend Russian operations

• Volgograd, formerly Stalingrad, is a city in southwest Russia, on the western bank of the Volga River.
• It was the site of WWII’s Battle of Stalingrad, commemorated by a huge statue.
• Due to the ongoing atrocities being carried out by Putin’s Russia over Ukraine, Imperial Tobacco has halted production at its factory in Volgograd.
