How Many Russian Troops Killed In Ukraine So Far?

• Nobody really knows how many combatants or civilians have died, and claims of casualties by government officials — who may sometimes be exaggerating or lowballing their figures for public relations reasons — are all but impossible to verify.
• One news outlet from Turkey says – At least 28,700 Russian soldiers have so far been killed during the war in Ukraine, the Ukrainian military said on Friday (source).
• Associated Press put out similar numbers saying – Ukraine and Western observers say the number of Russian troops killed so far is around  30,000. (source).
• From all the credible sources looked at (11 news outlets and agencies) – we have found that the number of Russian troop casualties generally appears to be somewhere between 25,000 and 30,000
