UK internet usage

Among the EU-28 nations, the UK has the 5th highest internet penetration rate. Only seven percent of users didn’t have access to the internet in the past 12 months. Almost the entire nation had access to the internet with an estimated number of 54.2 million monthly users. This number is expected to rise to 56.7 million monthly users in 2021. In the same time frame the penetration rate across the UK is expected to rise from 90.64 percent to 94.85 percent.
