One week – The damage of 10 years of Conservative governance

• On Monday a new report found that – in the sixth biggest economy in the world – the number of deaths of homeless people sleeping in bins has soared.
• In addition, new BBC research which suggested rough sleeping is five times higher than the official figure being peddled by the government.
• Another report was released showing life expectancy had not just stalled for the first time in more than 100 years but even reversed for some as austerity takes its toll on society.
• In the same week, the DWP are exposed in a ‘cover-up‘ storm after destroying dozens of secret benefit death reports
